A Budding Artist

Jenna has just started to draw things and tell us what they are. It's fun when kids get to this age and you can see their little minds at work.

Here we have Jenna's flowers. Jenna drew this while I was gone in North Carolina visiting my Aunt Carla Jean. Robby said that he liked the fact that she added stems to all of the flowers.

And this is Jenna's snake. Also drawn while I was gone.

One thing I find really interesting is that while I was gone last week Jenna apparently didn't ask about me at all. Well now that Dad is gone this weekend in Indiana, Jenna has asked for him several times and even gotten a little upset that Dad wasn't here. What's up with that?! Yeah, I'm feeling the love. I guess she's just a Daddy's girl! To make me feel better though, Little Robby told me that HE really missed me while I was gone. So Robby can have a Daddy's girl and I will have my Mama's boy, and we'll all be happy!

Jenna and Molly sound so much alike. Molly's starting to draw actual things. She drew a family portrait the other day and said it was her, Will, her brothers and sisters, Mom and Dad. There were 7 kids total...
