I count this as remarkable, two days in a row that I have had time to post a blog. Back in the middle of summer we had a great time celebrating 4th of July with Linley and Kjell's family. First we enjoyed fireworks on July 3rd (what I heard was that somebody in the city was not on top of things and didn't schedule a pyrotechnic company early enough to get a show on July 4th, oops!) We arrived early to ensure we had a good spot. Here are all the kids, minus our two youngest who were going to bed...
The sparklers were lots of fun. They were always one of my favorites as a kid.
The next morning we all met up to watch the annual 4th of July parade.

As you can tell, lots of fun was had by all. |
Fun, except when the big loud band scared Natalya. |
But, we were all smiles again moments later. |
And you can't forget the candy. That's the whole reason the kids even want to go to the parade. |
