Moment #1
Ever since I put away the Christmas tree, Jenna has been convinced that Santa is going to come tonight. Every so often she will come to me and exclaim with wide eyes of excitement, "Santa's going to come tonight!" I have told her that she is going to have to wait a long time till Santa comes again, but she does not seem deterred. Fortunately, she hasn't shown any disappointment when she wakes up the next day to no Christmas. One thing's for sure, she will definitely be excited next year!
Moment #2
Another thing is that Jenna has become my little (and very sweet) alarm clock. She will come into the bedroom, crawl in bed with me, and exclaim, "Get up! It's 16:19!"
"Oh really," I reply.
"Yeah mommy, get up! It's 18:10!"
Other times of day, if she hears me ask Robby the time, she will pipe up "It's 20:19!"
Moment #3
And our last little story involves the Christmas candy. Every year Santa puts chocolates at the bottom of the stockings. Jenna has really enjoyed having chocolate treats every so often (especially as a potty rewards). During Christmas I had bought two 9.5 oz. bags of Hershey's Kisses. Once we finished all of the stocking candy, I couldn't resist, and I opened one of the bags of kisses to get a few. Apparently Jenna was a little more observant than I give her credit, and she took note of where Mom was keeping the candy stash. I know you can see where this is going now... So the other day, Little Robby and I were playing a game together in the living room and Jenna was amusing herself. Since we weren't paying attention she took advantage of the situation and snuck into the refrigerator. I knew she was in the kitchen, but I didn't hear her in the fridge.
Later, I went back to the bedroom to do something and Jenna burst in the door wailing that she couldn't have candy. I asked her what she was talking about, and then she explained (in her own way) that brother was eating candy, and he wouldn't let her have some. She got pretty upset and I realized that it was probably dinner time which would explain her behavior, so I went out to the kitchen. At which point I saw this...
"Robby! Didn't you think you should ask before eating that much candy?!"
"I only had a couple!" he replied.
"Then why are there so many wrappers here?!"
"That's the way I found them when I came in the kitchen!"
Then the lightbulb in my head went on and I understood! Jenna had helped herself to half a bag of kisses, and then she was annoyed when Robby wouldn't let her have more. What a little snitch! (Luckily for her she is a cute little snitch!)

She sounds a lot like Molly - the random announcements of the time but more so, eating all those kisses and being so sneaky about it. Molly LOVES kisses. Her snitching problem lately has been chips, though.
I love the alarm clock.
Chocolate...my kinda girl! Maybe I'll start sucking my thumb and see if it takes like chocolate. Then I'll get the flavor without the calories!
oops that's taste not takes in my last comment!
I don't blame you, Jenna. Chocolate is good.
