A Day at the Rock Festival

A couple weekends ago we went as a family to the Arizona Rock and Mineral Festival. We had fun viewing some different minerals under black lights, looking at all sorts of rocks, minerals, and fossils, and eating rock candy.

Little Robby got to try out a metal detector, dig for fossils, and buy a few cool rocks (one of which was a geode that he cracked open at home with Dad's help.)

She loved it and kept whining when we wouldn't give her more.
